Assistant Chief Engineer

About the role

Accor Plus is looking for a detail‑oriented Assistant Chief Engineer to join its engineering team in Sharm el Sheikh, South Sinai. You will work closely with the Chief Engineer to ensure all technical systems operate smoothly, supporting guest satisfaction and overall facility performance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, implement and coordinate daily technical service operations across all facility systems.
• Execute and oversee operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, automation and infrastructure systems.
• Coordinate engineering department activities and supervise maintenance teams to maintain workflow efficiency and quality standards.
• Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance checks, identify system faults and ensure timely repairs.
• Monitor and manage the Building Management System (BMS), adjusting settings to optimise performance.

Required profile

• At least 36 months (3 years) of experience in hospitality engineering or facilities management.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Collaborative attitude and ability to support the Chief Engineer in decision‑making.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safety and quality.
