Backend Developer – AI Trainer (Remote, Egypt)

About the role

We are looking for experienced Backend Developers to join our AI training consultancy on a part‑time, project‑based basis. The role is fully remote and focuses on creating realistic software engineering tasks that will be used to evaluate and train AI models.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement multi‑file coding scenarios covering bug fixing, feature development, refactoring and migration.
• Write clear natural‑language specifications and reference implementations for each task.
• Develop and extend unit and integration test suites to validate the solutions.
• Review peer‑generated tasks for correctness, clarity, realism and provide actionable feedback.
• Identify edge cases, ambiguities and potential failure modes to ensure high‑quality deliverables.

Required profile

• Advanced professional written proficiency in English.
• 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience delivering backend or full‑stack features in production environments.
• Ability to work independently, manage own schedule and use personal development tools.
