BI & Big Data Quality Specialist

About the role

As a BI & Big Data Quality Specialist you will ensure the accuracy, consistency and performance of our data solutions. You will work within an Agile team to design, build and optimise data pipelines, dashboards and quality‑gate mechanisms that support business decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Develop end‑to‑end BI and Big Data quality solutions, including pipelines, data trends and dashboards.
• Administer data‑warehouse applications and Big Data clusters, monitor workflow performance and optimise system configurations.
• Design, implement and maintain data quality gates to validate large data sets efficiently.
• Enhance ETL processes to ensure seamless data movement while preserving data quality.
• Ensure compliance with data‑governance policies and regulatory standards.
• Investigate data anomalies, perform root‑cause analysis and apply corrective actions.
• Optimise query performance, database indexing and overall system efficiency.
• Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, business teams and vendors to meet quality objectives.
• Create automation scripts and monitoring frameworks for proactive quality checks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 0‑1 years of experience in engineering data‑quality solutions or building quality gates.
• Strong commitment to high data quality and customer‑oriented mindset.
• Experience working in Agile teams.
