Chief Retail Officer

About the role

The Chief Retail Officer will shape and execute the overall retail strategy, driving revenue growth, profitability and market share across all store locations. Reporting to senior leadership, this role will lead expansion, operational excellence and digital transformation initiatives within the electronics sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a retail strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Lead store expansion, new openings and market penetration efforts.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring consistency, compliance and operational excellence across all regions.
• Set and monitor retail SOPs, policies, KPIs and sales targets.
• Optimize inventory, stock availability and merchandising standards.
• Analyze sales performance, drive improvements in conversion rates and basket size.
• Enhance customer experience across all retail channels.
• Coach and develop regional and store managers, fostering employee engagement.
• Review P&L statements, identify margin improvement opportunities and control costs.
• Support digital transformation, omnichannel strategies and automation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with legal, audit, risk, security and health‑and‑safety requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing or related field (MBA preferred).
• 12–18+ years of retail operations experience, preferably in electronics or consumer goods.
• Proven leadership of multi‑branch retail operations and large teams.
• Strong commercial, strategic and financial management background.
• Experience driving retail transformation and expansion projects.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership abilities.
