Compliance Investigator – Eastern Hemisphere (Cairo)

About the role

Weatherford is seeking a Compliance Investigator for the Eastern Hemisphere, based in Cairo. Reporting to the Senior Compliance Investigations Manager in Switzerland, you will lead internal investigations focused on the company’s Code of Business Conduct, anti‑corruption standards, and related regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Independently lead and execute multi‑disciplinary internal investigations concerning code violations, fraud, and financial abuse.
• Coordinate with Assurance, HR, Health & Safety, Security, and Operations to report findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Identify compliance risk areas, propose remediation actions, and support anti‑corruption country reviews and desktop audits.
• Prepare investigative reports, financial analyses, and present results to management.
• Design and deliver investigations training for non‑compliance investigators.
• Assist on ad‑hoc compliance projects as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in legal, compliance, or investigations.
• At least 3 years leading fraud or anti‑corruption investigations.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Arabic.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 25% of the time.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical abilities with high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Experience with EthicsPoint or similar case‑intake database platforms.
