Cybersecurity Defense Expert

About the role

Geidea is seeking a Cybersecurity Defense Expert to lead its defense against cyber threats. You will oversee proactive SOC monitoring, digital forensics, incident response, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management across all regions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and enhance SOC operations, focusing on real‑time threat detection, incident response, and continuous monitoring.
• Coordinate digital forensics and incident response efforts to reduce recovery time.
• Develop and implement a threat intelligence program to identify and counter evolving threats.
• Manage the Vulnerability Management Program, including assessments, risk prioritization, and remediation.
• Oversee information security audits performed internally or by third parties.
• Integrate standard and non‑standard logs into the SIEM and create reports, dashboards, and metrics for senior management.
• Lead team and vendor management for the Security Operations Center.
• Maintain control effectiveness, identify detection gaps, and ensure compliance with cyber and information security policies.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in cybersecurity operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Relevant certifications such as GCIH and GCFA.
• Experience with NESA IAR, SAMA CSF, PCI‑DSS, and NCA frameworks.
