Document Controller

About the role

The Document Controller will organise, maintain and update project documentation for engineering and construction projects at AMG Al Amar Consulting Group in Cairo. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures that all documents comply with company standards and client requirements, supporting project teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, review, log and archive project documents.
• Maintain accurate version control and distribute approved documents to relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor document workflows and ensure timely retrieval of information.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants and clients to verify document completeness and compliance.
• Maintain records and archives in line with internal and external procedures.

Required profile

• Ability to manage and control documentation, including document and records management.
• Experience preparing, organising and maintaining project documentation throughout lifecycles.
• Strong communication skills for effective coordination with internal and external parties.
• Attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and a structured approach to handling large volumes of information.
• Diploma or degree in engineering, business administration, information management or a related field (preferred).
• Relevant experience in engineering, construction or consulting environments is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Cairo, meet deadlines and follow quality and compliance procedures.
