Electrical Infra BIM Engineer (French Speakers Only)

About the role

The Electrical Infra BIM Engineer will support high‑voltage transmission and distribution projects by turning engineering concepts into fully documented, construction‑ready drawings for substations and transmission lines. The role works closely with engineers and project teams to ensure accurate and compliant design deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Translate engineering sketches and mark‑ups into detailed drawings, including schematics, wiring diagrams, single‑line diagrams, arrangement, structure, assembly, plan and profile, route maps, foundations and grounding systems.
• Assist engineers in converting preliminary designs into final design packages.
• Prepare drawings in line with drafting codes, standards and project design criteria.
• Support the creation of Issued for Construction (IFC) documents and drawing packages.
• Provide technical support throughout the project to obtain approvals and sign‑offs.
• Review field construction mark‑ups and produce accurate as‑built drawing packages.
• Participate in occasional site visits to gather design details.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 10 + years of experience in high‑voltage transmission and distribution substation layout and section drawings.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet project schedules.
• General knowledge of electrical and civil design principles.
