Electrical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Kraft Heinz Egypt is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to lead and improve maintenance processes for its production facilities. You will supervise technicians, drive preventive maintenance, and ensure plant reliability while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation of the Kraft Heinz Maintenance Management System.
• Supervise maintenance technicians repairing production machines and equipment.
• Inspect breakdowns and develop engineering solutions for repetitive failures.
• Manage maintenance tools, equipment, and spare‑part inventory to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Evaluate machine useful life, asset utilization, and overall equipment effectiveness.
• Support preventive maintenance programs and control maintenance stores.
• Ensure compliance with statutory maintenance, quality, health, and safety regulations.
• Motivate a multi‑skilled technician team and manage performance objectives.
• Oversee maintenance budget, KPIs, and cost‑efficiency initiatives.
• Contribute to engineering projects focusing on maintainability, cost‑effectiveness, and safety.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance scheduling and breakdown diagnosis.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, HACCP, GMP, and food‑safety standards.
• Excellent command of spoken and written Arabic and English.
