Electrical Site Engineer (Cairo)

About the role

The Electrical Site Engineer will supervise and coordinate all electrical works on construction sites in Cairo, ensuring projects are delivered on time, to quality standards, and in compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems such as lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, and grounding.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, and project documents to guarantee correct on‑site implementation.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and other disciplines (civil, mechanical) to avoid conflicts and maintain workflow.
• Monitor daily site activities, track progress against the project schedule, and prepare progress reports.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Verify quantities, prepare material requisitions, and maintain accurate site records.
• Attend site meetings, provide technical support, and ensure proper documentation of work, test results, and as‑built drawings.
• Hand over completed works and documentation to the consultant.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in site execution of electrical works on construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, drawings, and local electrical codes, as well as international standards (NEC, IEC).
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
