Electrical Technical Leader – MV/LV Systems

About the role

The Electrical Technical Leader will head the planning, design and integration of all electrical systems for projects, overseeing medium‑voltage (MV) and low‑voltage (LV) distribution, protection schemes, and sub‑station automation. The role requires deep technical expertise, leadership and coordination with customers, utilities and internal teams to deliver compliant, safe and reliable electrical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design reviews, implementation and integration of MV (11 kV/22 kV) and LV systems, including protection relays, schemes and Smart Ring main units.
• Oversee RTU, RMU and MV switchgear installation, grounding and lightning protection, electrical panels, cabling and switchgear.
• Ensure all works comply with IEC standards, project specifications and local regulations.
• Manage QA/QC processes, conduct technical audits, inspections and support testing & commissioning.
• Review and approve design packages, shop drawings, method statements and maintain as‑built documentation.
• Provide regular progress, risk and mitigation updates to the Technical Director.
• Participate in technical meetings, design reviews and coordinate workshops with stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 12–15 years of experience in electrical engineering, at least 5 years in a leadership role on utility or smart‑grid projects.
• Proven experience working with utility customers and coordinating complex projects.
• Fluent English communication skills.
