Electrician – Retail Store Maintenance

About the role

The Electrician will ensure all electrical equipment on the shop floor operates safely and efficiently. Working closely with the Interior Design Group, you will support store remodels and catalogue launch projects, while scheduling and performing routine maintenance and repairs.

Key responsibilities

• Assist interior designers during store remodels or catalogue launches, providing electrical expertise.
• Develop material plans and lists with the Commercial‑In Department, meeting project deadlines.
• Coordinate with the Commercial‑In Manager to define routine maintenance needs and create work schedules, including timelines and cost estimates.
• Prepare material and equipment lists for projects and work with the Workshop Coordinator to procure them.
• Set up, dismantle, and maintain store fixtures; support repair and upkeep activities.
• Assemble display furniture and repair damaged merchandise as required.

Required profile

• Higher school or trade school graduate.
• Minimum 3 years of electrical experience, preferably in a retail environment.
• Technical knowledge of finishing carpentry, woodwork, metalwork, painting, wall and floor coverings, and electrical installations.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic preferred.
