English Second Language Teacher

About the role

SYE English Community is seeking a full‑time English Second Language (ESL) Teacher to join its Giza campus. You will deliver engaging lessons to learners of varying proficiency levels, fostering both language mastery and personal development.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver interactive ESL lessons aligned with curriculum goals.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments.
• Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust instruction to meet diverse needs.
• Contribute to curriculum development and share best practices with fellow instructors.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Required profile

• Strong command of English and proven ability to teach learners at different levels.
• Experience preparing students for IELTS or similar English proficiency exams.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics or a related field (preferred).
• Recognized TEFL, TESOL or CELTA certification (asset).
• Excellent classroom management, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and collaborative work.
