Export Logistics Supervisor

About the role

The Export Logistics Supervisor will lead all export activities for frozen French fries, ensuring timely, compliant, and quality‑focused delivery to international markets. This role bridges production, quality, cold‑storage, and logistics partners while maintaining strict cold‑chain standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and monitor the full export process from order receipt to destination delivery.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality and Cold Storage to guarantee shipment readiness and product integrity.
• Schedule container bookings, manage on‑time dispatch, and verify freight rates with forwarders and shipping lines.
• Supervise loading, ensuring temperature control and proper packaging of frozen goods.
• Prepare and review export documents: invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, health certificates and shipping instructions.
• Ensure compliance with Egyptian export regulations, GOEIC procedures and destination‑country requirements.
• Liaise with customs, chambers of commerce and shipping agencies for clearance.
• Communicate shipment schedules, documentation and tracking to international customers.
• Work with Finance on billing, insurance and LC compliance, and handle claims or discrepancies.
• Track KPIs such as on‑time delivery, documentation accuracy and logistics cost per ton, proposing efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or International Trade.
• 5–7 years of export logistics experience, preferably in FMCG or frozen food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian customs laws, GOEIC procedures and food export documentation.
• Experience with cold‑storage logistics, reefer containers and port coordination.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Experience with ERP systems and export tracking tools is preferred.
• Professional logistics or trade certification (CILT, FIATA, APICS) is a plus.
