Finance Specialist – Commercial Business Partner

About the role

Join SAP’s Managed Service Provider & OEM Deal Support Team as a Finance Specialist focused on commercial business partnering. You will work closely with sales, finance, legal and compliance teams to ensure deals are structured, approved and contracted in line with SAP policies.

Key responsibilities

• Deal support and approval: guide sales on deal structuring, review quotations for completeness and accuracy, and ensure compliance with SAP guidelines.
• Facilitate the deal approval process, engage all necessary internal stakeholders and act as the primary point of contact for the sales team.
• Manage quarter‑end and year‑end workload spikes, providing timely responses to urgent requests.
• Support projects aimed at process improvement, automation, standardisation and efficiency gains.
• Draft and review commercial contracts, incorporate appropriate commercial clauses and collaborate with legal to address all legal aspects.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and able to work autonomously.
• Organised and capable of performing under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
• Customer‑service orientation with a positive, can‑do attitude.

Required skills

• Experience in commercial finance, deal support or contract management.
• Familiarity with SAP finance processes and policies.
• Understanding of legal and compliance aspects of commercial contracts.
