About the role
Innovitics inc. is looking for a hands‑on Head of Software Engineering to drive technical excellence across all product teams. The role combines senior architectural ownership with daily code review and mentorship, ensuring high‑quality, scalable solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Own and define solution architecture for all projects, selecting patterns, frameworks, and platforms.
- Design scalable, maintainable, high‑performance systems and enforce security and reliability standards.
- Lead architecture reviews, micro‑services, DDD, event‑driven and CQRS design decisions.
- Participate in daily code reviews, focusing on quality, readability, SOLID principles, performance, and security.
- Mentor engineers on best practices, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps maturity, and infrastructure‑as‑code.
- Evaluate build‑vs‑buy options with clear technical justification.
Required profile
- 10+ years of software engineering experience (minimum 120 months).
- Proven track record in leading engineering teams and delivering complex, distributed systems.
- Strong hands‑on coding ability and deep architectural expertise.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a passion for code quality.
