Human Resources Analyst – Client Services & Outreach

About the role

The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) is seeking a Human Resources Analyst to join the Client Services and Outreach Branch of the Regional Office for the Arab States. Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, you will coordinate the recruitment and HR service delivery for locally recruited staff across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the full employment lifecycle – recruitment, onboarding, performance management, career development and exit – for locally recruited staff in the region.
• Evaluate staffing structures, job designs and recruitment projections, and update recruitment plans on behalf of the HR Business Partner and HR Specialist.
• Participate in operating meetings with regional and country office clients to understand business needs and operating environments.
• Support the Regional HR Team in delivering HR analytics, metrics and system‑related services to field‑based managers and staff.
• Monitor and report on recruitment progress, ensuring alignment with regional staffing plans.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in HR coordination or recruitment, preferably within an international or multilateral organization.
• Strong understanding of the employment lifecycle and HR processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with regional and country office stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
