Inbound Logistics Specialist – External

About the role

The Inbound Logistics Specialist (External) ensures smooth receipt and clearance of incoming materials, coordinating air and sea shipments, customs processes, and insurance claims. You will act as a key liaison between suppliers, customs brokers, warehouses and internal teams to meet delivery targets.

Key responsibilities

• Track second‑delivery and EX33 materials until dispatch.
• Update air‑shipment overview and monitor customs clearance to meet lead‑time targets.
• Prepare and review shipment documents, packing lists and share them with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with customs brokers to generate Cargo X documents for air shipments (MB and EGA).
• Support EX33 order placement and follow‑up on material arrival.
• Monitor sea shipments, issue pre‑alerts and arrange plant receipt.
• Record damages, liaise with insurance agents, and manage weekly insurance claims until settlement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 1‑2 years of experience in customs clearance and inbound logistics.
• Excellent command of English, strong attention to detail and analytical ability.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Digital literacy (basic IT tools).
• Programming knowledge (preferred).
