Infrastructure Director – Large‑Scale Development

About the role

The Infrastructure Director will own the full lifecycle of site‑wide infrastructure development for large‑scale projects, from initial planning through design, approvals, tendering and construction oversight. You will work closely with development teams, authorities, utility providers and construction partners to ensure seamless integration and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the overall infrastructure programme, aligning it with project milestones.
• Lead infrastructure design from concept through detailed design and tender documentation.
• Prepare consultant briefs, select and manage technical consultants.
• Coordinate design activities with delivery and construction teams.
• Secure authority approvals for roads, structures and wet & dry utility networks.
• Oversee budgeting, cost planning and financial performance of infrastructure works.
• Support contract negotiations and execution of key service agreements.
• Lead project management teams to deliver infrastructure projects on time, within budget and to quality standards.

Required profile

• 10+ years of infrastructure design and delivery experience, with proven track record on large‑scale developments in Egypt.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; postgraduate qualifications and professional certifications are a plus.
• Strong background in roads, bridges, structures and wet & dry utility infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage consultants and external stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
