Inventory Officer

About the role

The Inventory Officer will support daily warehouse and inventory operations, ensuring accurate stock records, proper receipt and dispatch of items, and timely reporting. This role helps prevent discrepancies, maintains availability of fast‑moving products, and supports smooth supply‑chain processes at Floward.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of stock movements, product codes and system entries.
• Support work‑order reconciliation to ensure material and product accuracy.
• Track inbound and outbound orders to avoid overstock or stock‑outs and escalate any discrepancies.
• Assist in receiving items, verifying quantities and quality against purchase requests.
• Check date‑sensitive products for expiration and help with removal or transfer.
• Report damages or losses to supervisor for corrective action.
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly stock balance and stagnancy reports.
• Generate inventory reports for management review and track basic KPIs such as stock accuracy, returns and defective items.
• Follow standard inventory and warehouse procedures and ensure compliance with occupational safety and health guidelines.
• Provide support to cross‑functional teams (Category, Sales, Procurement) to ensure product availability and timely order fulfillment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
• 1–2 years of experience in inventory or warehouse operations, preferably in retail or e‑commerce.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic is preferred.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic reporting.
