Overnight Stock Clerk

About the role

Join Meijer’s night team as an Overnight Stock Clerk, responsible for keeping shelves stocked and organized during the quiet hours. You will work closely with management to ensure product availability and maintain a friendly atmosphere for customers who shop late.

Key responsibilities

• Stock food shelves and other product areas using location codes.
• Pull back excess stock and trash to the backroom, placing items in correct locations.
• Collaborate with management to meet stocking deadlines.
• Maintain a courteous demeanor with customers during night shifts.
• Work the 10:00 pm – 6:30 am schedule, including Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of computer systems and comfort using them.
• Process‑driven with the ability to follow procedures efficiently.
• Calm under fast‑paced conditions and able to lift up to 50 lb boxes.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, push, pull, and twist for extended periods.
• Availability for flexible days and the three busiest sales days.
