IoT Test Lead – Strategic Digital, IoT & Cloud Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IoT Test Lead to drive testing strategy and delivery across Vodafone’s Digital, IoT and Cloud transformation programmes. The role combines deep technical testing expertise with leadership, requiring ownership of end‑to‑end testing activities in a fast‑evolving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review business requirements and define testing scope for multiple projects.
• Create and maintain test strategies, detailed test plans and effort estimates.
• Support teams in understanding project priorities, monitor progress and manage risks.
• Execute and oversee testing of critical areas, ensuring high‑quality coverage.
• Act as the primary testing contact for customers and stakeholders.
• Manage defect triage sessions with product owners and solution architects.
• Produce closure documentation, final test reports and KPI dashboards.
• Collaborate with automation and performance testing teams to validate end‑to‑end coverage.
• Define automation scope and contribute to test framework improvements.
• Lead multiple projects, coach and mentor team members, and drive continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Informatics or a related technical discipline.
• 9+ years of hands‑on technology experience, including at least 5 years in testing leadership roles.
• Proven ability to work independently and deliver results in complex, multi‑disciplinary programmes.
