Junior Android Developer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Android Developer to join a leading FinTech company. You will work on secure, user‑friendly mobile applications that enable digital payments and financial services, collaborating closely with product, design, and quality teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android screens, features, and integrations under senior guidance.
• Consume RESTful APIs, manage local data storage, and handle validation, errors, and application states.
• Implement responsive layouts that follow approved designs and Android guidelines.
• Write basic unit and UI tests, fix defects, and support release and quality‑assurance activities.
• Use Git, issue‑tracking tools, and adhere to documented coding standards.
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and product owners.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 0‑2 years of Android development experience; strong personal or graduation projects are accepted.
• Ability to learn quickly, pay attention to user experience and application stability.

Required skills

• Kotlin or Java programming.
• Android SDK and application lifecycle knowledge.
• Experience with APIs, local storage, debugging, and mobile UI development.
• Understanding of object‑oriented programming and common Android architecture concepts.
• Familiarity with Jetpack Compose, MVVM, Room, Retrofit, coroutines, Firebase, and Play Store release processes.
• Version control with Git and use of issue‑tracking tools.
