Junior Buyer for Noon Minutes

About the role

The Junior Buyer will support Noon Minutes, the fast‑growing hyper‑local delivery platform, by selecting vendors, building strong partnerships and ensuring the right product assortment is available for 15‑minute deliveries across the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Perform weekly stock and sales analysis to align brands with sales plans.
• Review planned deliveries against targets, category mix, price levels and stock to achieve sales, profitability and turnover.
• Analyse product and pricing data to inform pricing strategy and keep spend within budget.
• Negotiate terms with global suppliers to meet margin targets and buying KPIs.
• Gather market trends and competitor insights to guide buying decisions.
• Coach and inspire junior team members.
• Identify strong and weak‑selling items, recommend selection enhancements and report to senior management.
• Build robust supplier relationships, secure timely deliveries and favourable credit terms.
• Ensure accurate and timely replenishment of stock while maximising sales and margins.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Some exposure to the e‑commerce industry.
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing, negotiation and communication abilities.
• Strategic commercial thinker with solid analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication to drive projects across the organisation.
