Lead System Administrator

About the role

As the Lead System Administrator at noon, you will own the design, implementation, administration, and support of the company’s enterprise IT infrastructure. You will ensure high availability, performance, and security across Windows, Linux, virtualization, and cloud environments while driving major infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, deployment, and ongoing support of Windows Server and Linux platforms.
• Administer Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft 365, and Intune.
• Manage virtualization solutions including VMware vSphere and Hyper‑V.
• Oversee Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud services, ensuring proper patching, upgrades, and security updates.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Monitor system health, capacity, and performance using enterprise monitoring tools.
• Drive infrastructure projects, system migrations, and technology refresh initiatives.
• Establish and enforce IT policies, standards, and operational procedures.
• Manage identity and access controls, including MFA and privileged account management.
• Coordinate with vendors and third‑party providers for support and maintenance.
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to the system administration team.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives, vulnerability remediation, and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading enterprise IT infrastructure teams.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities under pressure.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize resources, and coordinate with stakeholders.
