Lighting Designer – Residential & Commercial Projects

About the role

Fanoos Lighting is seeking a creative Lighting Designer to develop innovative lighting concepts for residential, commercial and outdoor projects in New Cairo. The role involves leading the design phase, performing calculations, and delivering high‑quality visualisations for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive lighting layouts and concepts for various project types.
• Perform professional lighting calculations and simulations using DIALux evo.
• Collaborate with architects and consultants to prepare technical submittals and tailored solutions.
• Select appropriate fixtures and advanced control systems (DALI/KNX) based on project requirements.
• Create high‑quality 3D visualisations and technical presentations for clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in lighting design.
• Fluency in English.

Required skills

• Expert proficiency in DIALux evo.
• Advanced skills in AutoCAD (Revit is a plus).
• Knowledge of DALI and KNX control systems.
• Ability to conduct lighting calculations and simulations.
• Experience creating 3D visualisations.
