Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures customer satisfaction by delivering high‑quality service, precise on‑site communication and safe, reliable operation of lift equipment. You will work directly with customers, end‑users and supervisors to maintain equipment performance and site safety.

Key responsibilities

• Provide proactive communication on‑site (ETA, job performed, etc.) and accurate real‑time reporting via e‑Optimum.
• Maintain excellent relationships with customers, contact persons and end‑users, applying an ambassador attitude.
• Ensure equipment safety, performance and compliance with maintenance and safety instructions.
• Identify site risks, take immediate action on high‑risk situations and follow escalation procedures.
• Execute planned maintenance, call‑outs and unplanned service repairs, respecting schedules and quality standards.
• Plan workload in coordination with the service supervisor and raise sales leads when appropriate.
• Manage proximity stock, request spare parts and keep service tools, van and instruments in good condition.
• Submit timesheets, back‑report work performed and keep supervisors updated on relevant information.

• Commitment to safety and ability to identify and mitigate site risks.
• Organised approach to workload planning and stock management.
• Willingness to attend training on lift technology and related systems.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the e‑Optimum reporting system.
• Knowledge of lift/elevator technology and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to use and maintain service tooling, instruments and stock inventory systems.
