Maintenance Technician

About the role

Dafa Egypt is seeking a full‑time Maintenance Technician to join its New Cairo office. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing central heating and related building‑service equipment for residential and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, diagnostics and corrective maintenance on heating systems, HVAC units and associated mechanical components.
• Execute preventive‑maintenance plans to minimise breakdowns and extend equipment life.
• Document all work performed, including fault reports, repairs and adjustments.
• Coordinate with project and operations teams to schedule work and reduce downtime.
• Interact professionally with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering (preferred).
• Hands‑on experience with central heating, HVAC or similar building‑services systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
• Strong attention to safety procedures and reliable time management.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team on‑site.
