MEP Procurement Engineer – Data Center Projects

About the role

We are looking for an MEP Procurement Engineer to manage the purchasing of electrical and electromechanical materials for our data‑center projects in New Cairo. The role ensures the right quality, price and delivery schedule while supporting engineering and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Procure data‑center equipment such as UPS, generators, switchgear and cooling systems.
• Issue RFQs, collect offers and evaluate them on price and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with engineering and project teams to align requirements.
• Negotiate pricing and delivery terms with suppliers.
• Track orders and guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Prepare comparison sheets, reports and maintain supplier performance records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of procurement experience, preferably in large MEP or data‑center projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and data‑center equipment.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• ERP systems (preferred).
• Understanding of UPS, HVAC, generators and switchgear.
