Occupational Health Nurse

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Occupational Health Nurse to join our Cairo office. The role focuses on promoting employee well‑being through preventive, curative, and promotive health services in a dynamic, multi‑disciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Health Physician with pre‑employment and periodic medical examinations.
• Conduct occupational health tests such as audiometry, lung function, spirometry, skin prick, and vision testing, and maintain accurate records.
• Deliver health awareness training, first‑aid, basic life support, AED use, industrial hygiene, and safe food‑handling sessions.
• Support rehabilitation, return‑to‑work programs, and vaccination initiatives.
• Participate in ergonomic assessments, workplace inspections, mock drills, and emergency medical plan implementation.
• Review and manage cases of extended sickness absence, coordinate referrals, and liaise with managers and physicians.
• Track and schedule health surveillance for employees exposed to specific hazards (e.g., forklift drivers, confined‑space workers).
• Maintain vaccination records, ensure respirator medical clearance, and provide medical advice for business travel.
• Conduct site health risk and needs analyses.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with occupational health experience.
• Compassionate and dedicated to employee well‑being.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team (HS&E, HR, Management).
