Part‑Time Recruiter (San Francisco)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, detail‑oriented Recruiter to support a growing construction estimating and project management firm in the San Francisco Bay Area. This part‑time position (4 hours per day, Monday‑Friday) will manage the full‑cycle recruitment process for multiple roles, ensuring a smooth experience for candidates and hiring managers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post job ads on platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Upwork, and others.
• Source, shortlist, and screen candidates; conduct initial evaluations.
• Coordinate interview schedules, administer assessments, and compile evaluation scorecards.
• Submit top‑3 candidate shortlists per role and manage reference checks using Top Grading methodology.
• Draft and send offer letters, verify candidate documentation, and support onboarding checklists.
• Review timecards and invoices via Time Doctor or similar tools.
• Provide regular recruitment updates and attend daily team meetings.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR coordination.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple hiring priorities.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, metrics‑driven environment.
• Excellent communication and professional demeanor.

Required skills

• Familiarity with LinkedIn, Indeed, Upwork for candidate sourcing.
• Experience using Time Doctor or comparable time‑tracking tools.
• Knowledge of Top Grading methodology for reference checks.
