Technical Recruiter – Remote Worldwide

About the role

Reboot Monkey is looking for a Technical Recruiter who will act as a Technical Scout, building and maintaining a global pool of Data Center Technicians and Data Engineers. Working remotely, you will ensure that qualified experts are ready whenever a client needs Smart Hands services or a data pipeline built.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively source specialized Data Center Technicians and Data Engineers across multiple regions.
• Conduct deep‑dive technical interviews to verify hands‑on skills such as rack/stack, labeling standards, and hot/cold aisle management.
• Maintain a live database of vetted contractors, categorised by location, skill level and reliability score.
• Perform rigorous credential checks, including certifications and past work history.
• Track and report technician performance after deployment to ensure quality control.

Required profile

• 2+ years of technical recruitment or talent acquisition experience within IT infrastructure, cloud or data‑center environments.
• Strong technical IQ with understanding of physical infrastructure (PDUs, fiber types, server hardware) and data‑engineering fundamentals.
• Full professional fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work consistently across different time zones.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented “detective” mindset for finding niche talent.
