Precast Engineer – Structural Design (ABS)

About the role

Develop and coordinate structural BIM models and related deliverables for precast concrete projects, ensuring clash‑free, constructible designs that meet project BIM requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BIM models for concrete, steel, foundations, slabs, beams, columns, walls, stairs and openings.
• Prepare and update structural shop drawings, plans, sections, details, schedules and quantity outputs extracted from BIM models.
• Coordinate structural models with architectural, MEP, infrastructure and construction teams, resolve clashes and interface issues.
• Maintain model accuracy, naming conventions, worksets, levels, grids and ensure compliance with the BIM Execution Plan and company standards.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of experience in precast detailing and BIM modeling.
• Ability to produce accurate fabrication, shop and IFC drawings and to support clash detection workflows.
• Strong understanding of precast concrete elements, reinforcement detailing and production workflow.

Required skills

• Revit for precast detailing, family creation and parametric modeling.
• Reinforcement detailing and precast connection detailing.
• Preparation of fabrication, shop and IFC drawings.
• Knowledge of BIM standards, LOD requirements and clash detection.
• Familiarity with structural analysis software, preferably Concise Beam.
• Basic structural calculations and design checks for precast elements.
