Project Manager – Construction

About the role

El Salam for Contracting and General Supplying is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead construction projects from planning through delivery. You will ensure projects meet schedule, budget, quality, and safety standards while coordinating with internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and procurement strategies.
• Coordinate and oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and specifications.
• Evaluate, select, and manage contractors and subcontractors based on qualifications, experience, and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and report status to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, local building codes, and legal requirements.
• Manage project documentation such as contracts, permits, drawings, and change orders.
• Conduct regular meetings to facilitate communication, address challenges, and keep the project on track.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the project team, fostering a collaborative, high‑performance environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 12–15 years of industry experience, including at least 6 years as a project manager delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Proven project management abilities, with effective planning, organizing, and prioritizing skills.
• Leadership and business management capabilities.
