Public Area Attendant

About the role

The Public Area Attendant ensures that all public spaces of Rixos Premium Seagate hotel in Sharm El Sheikh are clean, tidy and welcoming for guests. Working across restaurants, bars, lobbies, ballrooms and other shared areas, you will maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all public areas, including lobbies, corridors, restaurants, bars, ballrooms and staff changing rooms.
• Vacuum, shampoo carpets, mop floors, treat marble surfaces and wipe walls, ceilings and furniture.
• Wash windows, clean chairs, curtains and other furnishings, and arrange furniture as required.
• Empty waste bins, transport housekeeping supplies from storage, and handle lost‑and‑found items.
• Report any suspicious persons or packages, breakdowns, or safety issues to senior staff immediately.
• Participate in emergency response teams and attend vocational training on security and protection methods.
• Support energy‑saving and environmental initiatives by following waste‑reduction and energy‑conservation procedures.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
• Readiness to report incidents and contribute to emergency response.
