Remote Go Developer – Contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Go developer to join a global software leader on a contract basis. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to high‑performance microservices and APIs that power real‑time data processing.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise backend services using Go.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements and deliver robust solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to architectural and security standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimise downtime.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on Go (Golang) development experience.
• Proven experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong understanding of concurrency, data structures, and algorithms in Go.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed environment.
