Reservation Manager Assistant

About the role

As a Reservation Manager Assistant you will support the reservation team in delivering seamless guest experiences across all hotel channels. Working closely with the Reservation Manager, you will ensure that booking processes run smoothly, guest inquiries are answered promptly, and the team operates efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of hotel policies, facilities, room types, rates, packages and promotions.
• Handle incoming reservation calls, emails and online requests, ensuring accurate data entry into the reservation system.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond quickly, and resolve complaints to guarantee satisfaction.
• Monitor cleanliness and organization of the reservation work area and ensure proper use of equipment.
• Prepare weekly staffing schedules, track attendance, document absences and assign breaks.
• Communicate daily business demands, such as arrivals, departures, group functions and special requests, to the team.
• Update information boards and ensure all staff are informed about hotel services and amenities.
• Support the Reservation Manager in evaluating staffing requirements and meeting budget goals.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

• Team player comfortable coordinating schedules and tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hotel reservation software and general computer systems.
• Basic office equipment operation (phone, computer, printer).
