About the role

The Senior Business Development Engineer (French Speaker) will drive business growth across Egypt and African markets. The role focuses on technical B2B sales, engaging consultants and contractors, and ensuring our insulation solutions are specified and secured in major projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets in assigned African markets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within HVAC, construction, and industrial sectors.
  • Build strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and project owners to secure project specifications.
  • Lead technical presentations and product demonstrations for key stakeholders.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including negotiations and deal closure.
  • Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and tender submissions in coordination with internal teams.
  • Follow up on project pipelines to ensure conversion from specification to order.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities, competitors, and customer needs.
  • Coordinate with engineering, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and reporting through CRM systems.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in technical or industrial sales, preferably in HVAC, insulation, or construction materials.
  • Proven experience in B2B sales and technical consultations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong customer focus, relationship‑management abilities, and results‑driven mindset.
  • Solid understanding of HVAC systems, insulation materials, and project‑based sales.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Fluent in English and French (mandatory).
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
  • Analytical thinking, problem‑solving skills, and willingness to travel domestically for site visits and client meetings.
