Senior Construction Manager – Wind Projects

About the role

Scatec is seeking a Senior Construction Manager for its wind project in Ras Gharib, Egypt. The role will lead day‑to‑day construction activities, ensure high quality and HSE standards, and act as the main point of contact with contractors on site.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all on‑site construction tasks, including balance‑of‑plant activities.
• Implement and monitor quality, health, safety and environmental standards.
• Lead daily and weekly coordination meetings with contractors and internal supervisors.
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly construction progress reports.
• Manage site services such as security, office facilities, utilities and logistics.
• Coordinate with local project manager, logistics, quality control, document control and community liaison teams.
• Control on‑site budget, extra hours, rotations and personnel performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a construction manager in wind or renewable energy projects.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and quality‑control procedures.
• Ability to handle challenging site conditions such as extreme heat and dust storms.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder and community engagement.
