Senior Content Executive

About the role

Assembly, a global agency within the Stagwell network, is expanding its Content team and seeks a Senior Content Executive to lead SEO‑focused content creation and optimization for client websites and blogs. You will combine research, keyword strategy and copywriting to improve on‑page performance and support broader digital marketing goals.

Key responsibilities

• Research trending topics across various industries to inform content ideas.
• Perform localized keyword research, map opportunities and optimize existing pages.
• Create and refine website copy, including title tags, meta descriptions, headers, on‑page text, internal links, anchor text and alt tags.
• Write SEO‑friendly content for client sites, third‑party sites, product pages or blog sections.
• Conduct on‑page opportunity analyses and compile optimization recommendations.
• Collaborate with account and content managers to execute SEO‑aligned content strategies.
• Utilize proprietary and third‑party reporting and insight tools.
• Ensure all content is grammatically correct, follows brand voice and is fact‑checked.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest SEO updates and industry changes.
• Review content and provide SEO‑based feedback.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of content writing experience, including at least 1 year focused on SEO content.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Extreme attention to detail and strong proofreading abilities.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
