Senior Data & BI Engineer

About the role

CID Consulting is seeking a Senior Data & BI Engineer to design and deliver data pipelines, data models and Power BI visualisations that enable clients to turn raw data into trusted insights for strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business reporting and analytics requirements.
• Build ETL/ELT pipelines from multiple source systems.
• Clean, transform and validate data to ensure quality and reliability.
• Design logical and physical data models, define KPIs and create semantic layers.
• Develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Maintain documentation and support data governance processes.
• Collaborate with business users to promote adoption of analytical solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data engineering and business intelligence, preferably at senior level.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into technical data solutions.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and lake‑house architectures.
• Good communication skills to work with cross‑functional teams.
