Senior Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Better Mix for Ready Mix Concrete is looking for a Senior Maintenance Engineer to join its operations team in Cairo. The role focuses on maintaining the reliability, efficiency, and safety of plant equipment and production assets in a ready‑mix concrete environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical performance and maintenance of all plant equipment.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Lead, supervise, and organize maintenance technicians to ensure efficient task execution.
• Conduct inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of equipment faults.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and maintenance requests.
• Coordinate with operations, stores, and purchasing to ensure spare‑parts availability.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and maintenance standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and technical reports.
• Review maintenance schedules during repairs to minimize downtime.
• Monitor tools, spare‑parts inventory, and workshop resources.
• Follow up on purchase orders related to maintenance requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of maintenance engineering experience in construction or ready‑mix concrete.
• Strong command of English.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and catalogs.
