Senior Maintenance Engineer – Marine & Steam

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Maintenance Engineer with extensive marine experience to lead the upkeep of our vessel fleet and support new shipbuilding projects. Based in Cairo, the role involves frequent travel to Luxor and Aswan to oversee on‑site operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute maintenance activities for the existing fleet.
• Support the launch of the Rêveuse vessel and other new builds.
• Manage the technical workshop, store, and central kitchen facilities in Luxor.
• Coordinate internal teams and external contractors to ensure timely project delivery.
• Prepare planning documents, reports and conduct weekly follow‑up meetings.

Required profile

• 6–10+ years of experience in marine engineering or vessel maintenance.
• Strong mechanical and electrical expertise.
• Experience with steam systems is a significant advantage.
• Hands‑on problem‑solver with a team‑oriented attitude.
