Senior Medium Voltage Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Medium Voltage Engineer to lead the engineering, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of medium‑voltage electrical infrastructure for a strategic project in the New Capital. The role ensures reliable power distribution to critical facilities and coordinates closely with clients, project managers, and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and execute on‑site installation, testing, and commissioning of MV equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on MV switchgear, RMUs, and transformers.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and single‑line diagrams.
• Ensure compliance with site safety, electrical codes, and regulations.
• Coordinate with clients, project managers, and subcontractors to meet project milestones.
• Prepare site reports and documentation for maintenance and installation activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues at the site level.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Power Engineering.
• 5–7 years of advanced experience in medium‑voltage network design, switchgear operation, transformer maintenance, and safety protocols.
