Social Media Moderator

About the role

The Social Media Moderator will join WAJJAD’s Cairo office to safeguard and enhance the company’s online presence. Working closely with marketing and content teams, you will ensure that all user‑generated content across the brand’s social channels reflects a professional, safe and brand‑aligned environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor comments, messages and user interactions on Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram.
• Review and approve or remove user‑generated content according to community guidelines.
• Respond to routine inquiries and forward complex issues to the appropriate internal teams.
• Escalate emerging risks or policy violations promptly.
• Track basic performance metrics and report audience sentiment to marketing.
• Provide feedback to improve social‑media policies, workflows and campaign execution.

Required profile

• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and sound judgment when handling sensitive or escalated issues.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, prioritize multiple conversations and maintain accuracy under time constraints.
• Previous experience in social media moderation, community management or digital customer support is preferred.
