Software Quality Control Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Software Quality Control Engineer to join our development team. The role involves designing, executing and automating tests to ensure the reliability and performance of our software products.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in design reviews, providing feedback on requirements and potential issues.
• Gather and clarify business requirements and translate them into test plans and cases.
• Create, execute and maintain manual and automated test suites for new and existing features.
• Debug code at unit and integration levels, report defects and collaborate with developers to resolve them.
• Implement test automation using TDD or BDD approaches and tools such as Selenium.
• Perform stress, performance, functional and scalability testing.
• Prepare detailed test reports and communicate results to the design team.
• Support continuous improvement of testing processes and workflow.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in software testing.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Programming languages: C#, C++, SQL and scripting.
• SQL query writing for backend validation.
• API, mobile and web automation testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Selenium.
• Experience with test‑driven (TDD) or behavior‑driven development (BDD).
• Familiarity with project tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps).
• Version control systems: Git or Mercurial.
• Agile/Scrum development environment.
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification (preferred).
