Structural Design Engineer – Multinational Projects

About the role

Omrania by EGIS is looking for a highly skilled Structural Design Engineer to join its multidisciplinary engineering team in Cairo. The role involves working on large‑scale building and infrastructure projects across Saudi Arabia and the wider region, with periodic visits to the headquarters in Riyadh.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop structural solutions for complex projects from concept through construction.
• Prepare, review and validate structural calculations, design reports and construction drawings in line with international codes and local standards.
• Perform structural analysis and assessments for reinforced concrete and steel structures, ensuring safety, durability and cost‑effectiveness.
• Coordinate with architecture, MEP, civil and landscape teams to deliver integrated designs.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets and quality benchmarks.
• Produce technical proposals, value‑engineering recommendations and present reports to clients and stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies and regulatory changes.
• Support quality assurance and safety compliance throughout all project phases.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Proven experience in structural design of large‑scale building or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of international design codes and local Egyptian/ Saudi standards.
• Ability to work in a multicultural, multinational team.
