Supply Chain Planning Cluster Lead

About the role

The Supply Chain Planning Cluster Lead is the primary escalation point for Global Business Services (GBS) and is accountable for end‑to‑end supply planning within a defined category. This role bridges the GBS Planning Hub and the market, ensuring that production plans, inventory targets and working capital goals are met while supporting the company’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Create and validate production plans and inventory projections in collaboration with market planners.
• Lead weekly and monthly review meetings, monitor service metrics and analyse root‑causes of performance gaps.
• Manage the GBS Supply and MRP Planning team, acting as first‑level crisis escalator and providing resolution plans.
• Represent GBS in strategic market meetings, ensuring alignment on supply‑chain initiatives and commercial calendars.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, R&D, finance and other stakeholders to guarantee product availability across distribution centres and export markets.
• Oversee monthly physical counts, material write‑offs, and approve purchase orders in the SAP system.
• Drive organizational capability by developing technical and soft‑skill training for the planning team.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading supply‑chain or production‑planning teams in a multinational environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to diagnose performance issues and define corrective actions.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across functions such as manufacturing, finance, sales and logistics.
• Demonstrated ability to handle crisis situations and drive timely resolutions.
