Transportation Assistant Analyst – French Speaker

About the role

This position coordinates daily transportation operations with third‑party carriers and warehouses, ensuring efficient order execution, cost control, and seamless collaboration across the supply chain. The role requires strong bilingual communication (English/French) and the ability to manage operational issues and vendor relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily transportation orders from planning teams and communicate them to carriers via relevant systems.
• Monitor order execution, shipment notifications, and resolve operational issues to maintain service continuity.
• Provide transportation forecasts, shipment schedules, and manage warehouse slot bookings.
• Track and report transportation KPIs such as on‑time delivery, carrier acceptance, and cost metrics.
• Handle delivery issues, refusals, returns, and escalations with carriers and warehouses.
• Maintain carrier cost data, process claims, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Create purchase orders for logistics providers, coordinate invoice processing, and resolve billing discrepancies.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in logistics operations, stakeholder management, and carrier coordination.
• Proficiency in English and French at C1 level (written and spoken).
• Working knowledge of stock planning, inventory management, and MRP systems.

Required skills

• gTMS (global transportation management system)
• SAP (or similar MRP platform)
• Power Apps and Power BI or comparable reporting tools
• Advanced Excel and Office suite proficiency
