Technical Engineer – Architecture

About the role

The Technical Engineer – Architecture will join Focal Buildings Solutions in Giza, working on‑site to develop detailed architectural drawings, specifications and construction documents for turnkey projects. The role bridges design and execution, ensuring that all architectural outputs meet client requirements, local regulations and the company’s quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and update detailed architectural drawings and shop drawings using AutoCAD, Revit or similar tools.
• Prepare technical specifications and construction documents aligned with project requirements and Egyptian building codes.
• Collaborate with design teams, project managers and site engineers to coordinate architectural details and resolve technical issues.
• Participate in coordination meetings, providing technical input during construction phases.
• Support value engineering, material selection and cost‑effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and regulatory standards throughout project execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods and architectural standards.
• Experience working in design‑build or turnkey project environments is an advantage.
• Excellent organizational abilities and capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced setting.
• Effective communication skills in a multicultural professional environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with architectural drafting and design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
